I love these visiting birds from the Arctic. Taken at Eastern Point Light - East Gloucester, MA.
Thanks to Steve at Shootingmyuniverse.blogspot.com
for showing previous pictures of these adorable birds and for giving excellent directions to their whereabouts
I got up bright and early to watch the sun come up and to wait for the birds to arrive on the breakwater...and wait ... and wait. Seems they don't want to feed for about an hour and a half after sunup. Can you say human popsical and windburn (LOL) but it was worth it in the end.
