A light house, beaches, gulls and perennials

I picked a few of my recent favorite shots. Since they are not of a cohesive theme, I'll just call it a mixed bag Wednesday.

Annisquam Light, Cape Ann, MA. From the adjacent beach. It was the middle of the week, in the off season so I was able to park and get a few shots off.

"Back up women, you are a little too close!" or something like that.

I love the colors and the reflections of the rocks in the water. Gloucester Beach.

Finally a close up of some bleeding hearts. I took these in my sister's yard while escaping for a few minutes from my nephew's 18th birthday party.

Nice photo's Cindy! I take it you must come up this way quite often. it's a bit of a drive though from NYC, that's for sure. Sounds like a labor of love though.

The seagull shot is too funny! They are squawky birds aren't they. I have yet to see any Bleeding Hearts in bloom. A bit early still in NH.

Sharon, I do try to get up there as often as I can. In fact I have a conference in Portland, ME in a week. Now did I choose that conference because of the content or where it was...hum?

Steve B, you are so lucky...

What lovely pictures of that lighthouse, it would make a good subject for a picture in fabric I think. I'm afraid I don't know what Brooklyn or Maine are like but judging by your photos, pretty nice!
